I had a very itchy rash, quite extensive on my upper body. I saw three different GPs over approximately three months to no avail. I was referred to Dr Ghura who diagnosed the cause of my rash on my first visit (a completely different diagnosis than that of the GPS). He prescribed three different treatment creams. Within three days there was a great improvement and after two weeks I was almost clear. Now completely clear. Dr Ghura was very calm and pleasant. He explained the cause of my rash and was very reassuring about the outcome of my treatment. I would recommend him wholeheartedly.

I underwent a facial biopsy at the Alexandra hospital. A short painless procedure taking place in relaxing atmosphere with a friendly professional team. Absolutely no cause for uneasiness. No subsequent pain. Instructions provided for care of dressings and application of antibacterial cream. Dr Ghura talked the steps through at each stage making one feel quite at ease. I feel talking about the next actions during the procedure helps to allay any fear a patient may have of the unknown. Dr Ghura was easy to talk to and understand during consultations with him. I feel clear simplified explanations of any procedures will alleviate patient fears of the unknown.

My brother in law who is a GP recommended Dr Ghura and encouraged me to have MOHS surgery. I am fortunate to have private healthcare through my work but I know he also operates under the NHS. Dr Ghura was warm, professional, caring and reassuring. My BCC skin cancer was on my nose so I felt apprehensive about having surgery. I'm not a vain person but I felt scared to have surgery so near to my eye and also how the scar would look. Dr Ghura was honest yet reassuring, showing me some examples of previous cases he had worked on and talking me through the procedure. I was also nervous about Covid-19 risks but again very reassured about all the measures in place. Surgery went well. The clinic was spotless with full Covid-19 measures in place. Dr Ghura and the nurses were kind and efficient. I trusted Dr Ghura and felt confident in his abilities. He spent time on the stitches and the aftercare was clearly explained. A week later I went to have the stitches removed. The nurse explained she always volunteers to remove Dr Ghura's stitches as 'they are the best, so neat and the results always look brilliant'. It was so reassuring to hear this. My stitches went from the corner of my eye down to about three quarters of my nose. Once the blue stitches were removed, I was so impressed with how neat the scar looked. It's now two weeks since surgery and I saw Dr Ghura again yesterday. He thought the healing looked like a month's worth whereas I only had the operation two weeks ago. My husband and I (and my GP brother-in-law who I saw in the garden last night due to Covid-19 rules) can't believe how brilliant the scar looks after just two weeks. (Interestingly, I had an operation on my back for a melanoma in-situ 14 years ago with a plastic surgeon which looks terrible so I'd choose a dematologist every time now!!) Thank you Dr Ghura :).

Dr Ghura was patient and spoke in plain language rather than jargon, which meant I understood all I was told. He had time to listen as well and was happy to answer any questions we had.
